Maas Ke Sooley - Udaipur

This is one of the must-have mutton starter dishes in Udaipur, its a Rajasthani delicacy prepared with lamb pieces marinated with spices and cooked on a barbecue. You will find this dish in almost all the restaurants in Udaipur, but my personal favorite is  Tribute. 

I am not a fan of Mutton starters as the meat is hard in texture and chewy but the Maas Ke Sooley in Tribute is tender and full of flavor. At first, I started to believe every Maas ke Sooley is same but only after waiting for one day to get the reservation in one of the very fancy rooftops restaurants in Udaipur, I was truly disappointed with the Maas Ke Sooley dish as it was nowhere close to what I had expected . 

Apart from delicious food, the staff is friendly even if you are not a foreigner, prompt service and with a nice lake facing view. You can opt to sit indoor or outdoor. The restaurant ambiance is very bright with white furnishings and colorful plants. So, try this place whenever you are in Udaipur.
